GCL Introduction

1.Geosynthetic Clay Liner

   Geosynthetic Clay Liners are new reinforced geocomposites, consisting of three layers, the middle layer of 

   sodium bentonite beween two layers of woven and nonwoven geotextiles. Three layers are combined

   through needle-punched process,and the process can keep betonite grains flow in one direction. When

   GCL is in contact with water, the bentonite grains swells to form a low permeability clay layer to prevent leak.

2.Geosynthetic Clay Liner With Membrane

   According to different conditions, HDPE membrane can be added to outside of nonwoven geotextile layer to

   enhance the waterproof performance.

                

GCL Adevantages and Usages

   GCLs have many advantages compared to tranditional waterproof materials, as follows:
